The “900” factory, the number once assigned to the establishment of this eclectic brand, was born in Fukui, in the heart of Japan, where 95% of Japanese glasses are produced.
Here Factory 900 has developed and perfected the processing of acetate which has become the hallmark of its glasses, which today are appreciated not only in Japan but also in the rest of the world.
3 generations passed, today Factory 900 continues to create glasses in its small factory, without forgetting its origins and its mission: to inspire the eyewear market of the future.
Today his glasses with an asymmetrical design and compact geometric lines continue to make school. Since 2002 for 3 consecutive years Factory 900 has obtained the title of Eyewear of the year in Japan and in 2013 and 2015 received the Silmo in France d’Or, the Oscar of the eyewear world. In 2016 he won the German Design Award for the best futuristic design.
